Mixed Media Bits - Whimsy Stamps - Encouragement Card
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! My hope is that you will be inspired to pull out your craft supplies and make a card. Don't make it hard just relax and enjoy yourself. Remember it's only paper and you can redo it!
Today's card was made with Whimsy Stamps products. I love Whimsy Stamps because I know they are made with the highest quality and are made here in the USA!
I have added some instructions below for you. So without further ado here is my card.
This card was fun and so easy to make because I felt like I was doing Mixed Media again but with stamps. Makes me want to pull out my Mixed Media journal and make a page! In fact I'm going to do that and use these stamps!
Take a white piece of card stock and cut it at 4 x 5 1/4
This will be what you stamp on.
I used the Mixed Media Bits Clear Stamps to make my design. I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide.
Just use my design or use your imagination and make your own! I let the Oxides completely dry then using Versa Fine Black Pigment Ink I used the Actions Clearly Whimsy Stamp Set for my sentiment and stamped it in the middle of my design.
For the mat piece I used green card stock and cut it at 4 1/4 x 5 3/8.
Glue the two pieces together and adhere it to your card base.
To make the card base you will need to cut an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of 110 lb card stock at 7 x 6. Then on the 7 inch side score at 3 1/2 and that will give you your card base of 6 x 3 1/2.
Well, I hope I've inspired you to pull out your supplies and make this fun card. If you don't have the products I used and would like them I've listed them below with links to the Whimsy Stamps store.
That's it for me!
