Wooden Bench Swing Mini Slimline Card - Rubbernecker Stamps - Friendship Card
Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I hope you get some inspiration and pick up some new techniques.
If you're like me I love springtime and all the flowers blooming and the earth coming back to life after a winter's sleep. So I am celebrating that with the theme florals this month for Rubbernecker Stamps.
This is the completed card and below you will find step by step instructions on how to recreate this card.
Growing up we had a swing like this and I remember spending hours swinging reading a book or just talking with my friends.
- The first thing you will want to do is cut out all of your die cuts. I find this easier if I cut as many as I can at one time with my die cutting machine. I use the Gemini Jr.
- Keep all of your colored card stock scraps in color coordinated folders or bags so that you will have pieces just for this occasion.
- This is going to be a mini slimline card so you will want to cut cut out a piece of card stock at 5 7/8 x 3 3/8.
- This will be your mat for your mini slimline card where you will adhere all of your cut outs on.
- I then do a quick assembly to get an idea where I am going to lay all of my die cuts.
- Take a picture so you can remember where everything goes when you go to adhere the on your mat.
- I used the cloud stencil with color Sky from the Color Fuse Set #7.
- Don't go all the way to the bottom of your page as you will be adding green for the illusion of grass.
- I then took the stamp pad of Mist and Clover from the Color Fuse Set #10, and added the grass line.
- This is the time you will color your terracotta pots.
- I used the following Copic combination for the pots: E57 E35 E33 E31.
- Now the fun part!!! Assemble and glue down all of your die cuts to and watch your imagination come to life!
- The last thing you will do is stamp your sentiment and adhere your card onto your card base.
Below you will find the list of products I used to make this card. Some of my links are affiliate links. I do this so that I can continue to make cards for you to see and hopefully try and make yourself!
I buy all of my Copic Markers and Refills from Violeta-Ink.com.
Violeta Ink donates a portion of every purchase to Crafts for Paws.
