Cards Galore Challenge #2 Bling It Up!

Hi All :)
Today's post is the Card Galore Challenges Blog, Challenge #2 Bling It Up!  The sponsor for this challenge is Scrappers Delights.  She has the cutest digital stamps.  So go check out her store.  So here is my card:

I really enjoyed coloring this sweet cupid!  Isn't she darling!!!  I used Prisma colored pencils to color her.  I have to say I LOVE my Prisma colored pencils.  They are AWESOME!!!  For the paper I used it came from the 6x6 My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Madison Avenue.  For my bling I used Cotton Candy Stickles and stickled the hearts, bow, her eye shadow and the little hearts in her eyes.  I also used sequins and put little heart rhinestones in the centers and placed them on the circles in the pennant.  The sentiment is a Craft Smart stamp.
So head on over to Cards Galore Challenges Blog, submit a card and get a chance to win a gift certificate for Scrappers Delights Digital Stamps.

Make it a AWESOME DAY!!!

Scrapbook Page. Homecoming picture.

Hi All :)
I hope this post finds you well!  It's been snowing since 9:00 a.m. it's 10 min after 4 and it's still coming down!  LOVE IT!  Were supposed to get anywhere between 6 and 12 inches!  I hope we hit 12!  I know I'm crazy but I love snow!!!
Ok onto my project.  As you all know I received a Silhouette for Christmas and I've figured out the basics on it, with the help of my friend Laurie, and decided to add them to a scrapbook page I was working on.  If you know me you probably fell off your chair when I said I was working on a scrapbook page LOL!  Well anyway here it is.

The picture is of my husband and I when we were Seniors in High School back in 1981!  I just had to scrapbook this picture!  The 12 x 12 paper pack I used is Pink Paisley's Butterfly Garden that I have been hoarding!  The title, love you, smile and camera I cut with my Silhouette.  The flower is Prima and everything else was in my stash!  I've been trying to upgrade my pages and I think this is one I can say I really like.  I'm going to put this one in a frame and hang it in our room.
If you want to here a story about us then read on!
Rob and I were married the year after we graduated and was married for 13 years then divorced for 15.  We remarried January 18 2012!  It feels like we were never apart!  God it so good!
Well I've blabbered enough ;)  Leave a comment and let me know what you think please.  I love comments!

Mojo Monday Challenge 328

Hi Gals :)
Today I've made a card for Mojo Monday Challenge #328.  I know I'm a little late with playing along but my week has been hectic!  Well anyway here is the sketch:
and here is my card:

This amazingly cute image I found on Tiddly Inks website.  I just love her.  I've already bought another image but will be using it for my March design team project on Cards Galore Encore!  There is a card challenge going on at Cards Galore Encore right now if you want to go and play along!  There's a prize as well!  Ok back to my card.  The 6 x 6 paper pack I used is Cottage Farms by Pink Paislee.  The die cut hearts I purchased from Simon Says and the set is called Mini Hearts.  I used my oval Spellbinders for the base of the little girl image.  The sentiment is a Recollections stamp.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and used Mineral Spirits to blend.  I stickled the hearts with Cotton Candy Stickles.  The card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.
Well that's it for this post.  I will be posting another one with my Mixed Media Canvas so be looking for it!
Make it a FABULOUS Day!!!

Altered Bottle

Hi All :)
I hope this post finds you well and doing what makes you happy!
Today I am posting my first altered bottle.  I joined a swap and I'm anxious since I had no clue what I was doing LOL!  The theme was fairies and we had to add bling, lace, trim a charm and tag.  I haven't made the tag yet. I wanted to show you all the bottle so you can tell me if I need to make another one.

The charm is an old earring and the moon was a brooch.  My mom and I stood in an antique store for over an hour (in Florida with no air conditioning) looking through costume jewelry to find these treasures.  I have a ton of jewelry to use for different projects.  Well I digress (LOL).  Back to the bottle.  The black trim with the beads I found at an Estate Sale.  The bling I bought from The first bottle I made I put paper all over it and sprayed it with mists but it didn't match the fairy picture so my niece, Birda, came over and she made her own bottle with it.

I'm happy with the way they turned out but I would like your opinions so leave me a comment and let me know please.
Thank you:)
