Princess with Glass Slipper Paper Nest Dolls

Hello!  First, I want to thank you for visiting my page!  I hope you like what you see and subscribe to my page.

Today's card is Princess with Glass Slipper from Paper Nest Dolls. I absolutely love the fairytale line from Paper Nest Dolls.

I water colored this sweetie!  I used Tombow Markers, Winsor Newton Cottman Watercolors and  Jane Davenport Neutral watercolors for the image and the hair.  For depth and shadows I used Prisma colored pencils.
The large blue flower in the corner I made with Foamiran and Lady E Design Flower 001 die set.  The Foamiran was white and I colored it with water color sticks by using a wet paper towel and rubbing on the stick and wiping it on the foamiran.  I also added the stamens.  This is the first flower that I have made with the foamiran and I think I'm hooked!
I have linked the store, which is Magnoliastamps.us, to all of the items I purchased.

If you like you can follow me on Facebook at Dawn G Designs.  I'm thinking of starting an Instagram page as well.  Please leave me some love in the form of a comment.

Once again thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Ladybug Lulu Paper Nest Dolls Birthday Card

Hi Everyone! I'm back today with another card.
This card is for my mother as well.  Her birthday is in June.  I thought she would like this cutie.  This is Ladybug Lulu from Paper Nest Dolls.  You can buy her from Magnoliastamps.us.

I tried something different with her by using some shadowing around her.  I'm not totally in love with the look but I thought I would give it a whirl.

This card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  I used my Tombow Markers this time to color my image.  I used my Prima Colored pencils to add shadow and depth to the image.  I used Echo Park 6 x 6 For The Record 2 paper pad. I matted with black card stock from my stash.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I also used various dies from my stash as well.

Well that's it for me today.  Thank you for stopping by.  I love to read your comments so please leave me a message and subscribe to my blog.

For the grass I used my Derwent Intense Pencils.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The lace is from Joann's.

I really enjoyed coloring this sweet image.  I highly recommend buying the rubber stamps from Paper Nest Dolls as the quality is the best AND it's all made in America!

To say I'm a little obsessed with Paper Nest Dolls stamps would be an understatement!  LOL!!! I just love these adorable images!  Today's cutie is Brave Princess! If you follow the link it will take you right to the website and her image.  I always buy the rubber stamps because they are of the highest quality and leave a perfect image every time. This card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The paper is My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy 6 x 6 pad.  I used my Spellbinder dies, Small Rectangles, to cut the image and it's frame.  I embossed a mat to frame the image.  To highlight the embossed mat I used Spellbinders Isadora Trinkets die. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The seam binding is from my stash.

All in all I am very pleased with how clean and bright this card looks.

Always Be Brave

WOW, I can't believe it's April already!  But here we are and I'm so looking forward to seeing the earth come alive again after winter.
Any who, let's get talking about the card I made for you today.  This adorable image is Butterfly Princess from Paper Nest Dolls.  I am so pleased with how she turned out.  You can buy her in digital form but the rubber stamps leave a perfect image every single time and I highly recommend them.

Before I tell you how I made this card I want to tell you why I love this sentiment.  I am a breast cancer survivor and now a close friend of mine was diagnosed.  I remember how my husband kept telling me how brave I was and now its my turn to tell my friend and I thought this card was perfect for her.  Ok, enough about me. 😄

This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  The paper is a 6 x 6 pad called Hello Summer by Echo Park.  The sentiment is from Hampton Art Layering Butterflies Clear Stamp Set.  I tried to find one on line so I could give you the link but it's an older set and I couldn't find it.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I colored the image with my Winsor & Newton Cotman Water Colours.  I also used my Neocolor II Water-soluble wax pastels.  Then I finished up with my Prisma Colored Pencils.

Sooo . . . I'm thinking about doing a giveaway.  So stay tuned! 😉

I love comments so if you can please leave me some love I would appreciate it!

Make it an AWESOME DAY!!!

Back In The Game

Hi All!  I’ve been out of the game for a while but I’m back baby!  The main reason I’ve been out of touch is that I was diagnosed October 25, 2015 with Stage 2 Grade 3 Breast Cancer that had traveled to my lymph nodes. So needless to say I needed to take care of that business. I’m happy to say I will be cancer free 3 years May 10, 2019!  Right now my passion is card making. I love to watercolor images then touch them up with Prisma Colored Pencils.

This little beauty was so much fun to make. The stamp is a Magnolia Tilda. I used several different dies to put this scene together and I love how it turned out!
I’ve recently fallen in love with Paper
Nest Dolls. Www.Papernestdolls.com. I’m still waiting on my order so I can begin to color them and make beautiful cards!
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of today’s card or you can just say hi!  I’ll talk to you lovelies again soon!
