Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #12, Christmas/Anything Goes

Merry Christmas Everyone :)

This month's challenge for Crafts Galore Encore is a Christmas project or Anything Goes.  The sponsor for this month's challenge is Beccy's Place.  She has the cutest digis and is giving the prize of three images or one set of images to this month's winner!
So get your paper and scissors out and make a card or any kind of project!
Here is my card:

I used white card stock for my base.  I cut an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper to 4 1/4 x 11 and used my bone folder to crease the paper at the 5 1/2 mark that gave me a top folding card.  I then cut the red background patterned paper to 4 x 5 1/4. I then used my Swiss Dots embossing folder with some white card stock and after I embossed it I cut it to 1 1/2 x 4 1/4 and added it to my card.  I used my Spellbinders small ovals and large ovals for the image and blue patterned paper.  The image is from Beccy's Place and it is called Snowy Snowflake.  I colored this adorable image with my Prisma Colored Pencils.  To smooth out the coloring lines I used Odorless Mineral Spirits.  I dipped paper stubs into the mineral spirits and lightly rubbed the colored areas until they were smooth.  To get the color off of your stub just rub it on an emory board or sandpaper and your ready to do your next color.  I used my Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle to my snowflakes.  The sentiment is from my stash and all I did was stamp it cut it out and notched the edges.  If you have any questions please be sure to ask in the comment section below.

So now it's your turn!  Get your creative juices flowing and make something and add it to the Crafts Galore Encore blog and you could win some of Beccy's awesome digis!

Thanks for stopping by and make it a BEAUTIFUL DAY just by smiling!
