SOS #103 Graduation - Anniversary Challenge

Hi My Friends!

I posted this card in a earlier post but wanted to enter it into the Shop Your Stash #103 Challenge.  The challenge was to use something that you have had for over 2 years.  The card stock and pattern paper is well over 2 years old and it is from Stampin Up as is the focal stamp and sentiment.  I am very pleased how this card turned out.  I hope you are as well.

The paper is Stampin Up.  I used my Spellbinders Small Circles for the bottom and Labels Twelve for the focal point.  The stamp set is also Stampin Up and is called Garden Collage.  The sentiment is from Stampendous called Special Messages.  The butterflies are Susan Winget Pillow Stickers by K&Company.  The ribbon is from my stash.

So head on over to Shop Your Stash and enter your card!

If you get a chance please check out the rest of my blog as I am giving out some blog candy!  YUM, YUM!!  Just follow the instructions and enter for your chance to win.  Good Luck!!!

As always have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Congratulations, Thank You and Happy Birthday Cards

Hi Crafty Gals!
How is everyone?  I hope this post finds you well and crafting your day away!  Well, I've been working on the following four cards in a mad dash to finish them by tomorrow to post them on Splitcoast Stampers but I didn't realize that I had to be a member to enter my cards so I sent in my request this morning and no word yet!  UGH!!!  I don't know if I will get a chance tomorrow because I am taking two of my children to Hershey Park, PA for the weekend.  If you don't already know my second child, Joshua, who is 25, has Down Syndrome and he loves to go to "Parks" which in his mind translates to Disney World.  I am also taking my youngest son Jordan, who is 23 with me so he can ride the rides with him (Mom is getting two old to ride roller coasters anymore. LOL)  Sooo I won't be able to post my cards tomorrow.  All well there is always next time.  WOW that was wordy!  Here are my cards.  I will post under them what I used.

The 6x6 paper pack I used is My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Girl! the music notes are from a Recollections punch and the bird stamps and the sentiment and ribbon are from my stash.  I used Kraft card stock for my card and the mats.

The paper is from Stampin Up.  The sentiment is Close to my Heart and the collection is called For Every Occasion. I used my Spellbinders Labels Five.  The border punch is Fiskars but I can't recall the name.  The bling and ribbon are from my stash.  The distress ink I used is Tim Holtz Tea Dye.

The 6x6 paper pack I used for this card is  My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Boy. I used my Spellbinders Small Circles and Small Circles Scalloped.  The orange card stock I used for the card and the mats is Stampin Up.  The sentiment stamp is Kathy Davis, Inkadinkado. The flower is Recollections and the ribbon is from my stash.

Well I hope you enjoyed my cards.  I am having some blog candy so please check out my blog, subscribe and follow the instructions to win!

Thanks and as always have an AWESOME day!!!

Thinking of You Cards and Male Birthday Card

WHEW!! I have had a VERY productive day here in my craft room!  I was able to finish my design team project for Tsunami Rose Designs (which will post Wednesday at 12:00 a.m.) and I made FIVE cards today!

I'm going on a scrapbook cruise in October so I will be putting my cards on Etsy (I don't have anything on there right now) at the beginning of June to help pay my way. So please check it out then.

Here is a picture of all three cards I just finished.  I have individual pictures as well and under the picture will be the product list.

I would love to know what you think of my cards so please leave a comment!

The background script is from Tim Holtz, Urban Grunge set.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart, For Every Occasion.  The butterflies and vine is Close To My Heart, Butterfly Wings.

The card stock is Graphic 45 6x6 French Country paper pack.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Petite Messages.  Ribbon is from my stash. The circles I cut with Spellbinders Small Circles and Small Scalloped Circles.  For the edging of the mat (don't laugh to loud) I used, wait for it . . . Kraft Edgers Scissors called Flash!!  LOL!  Now come on you know you have some too!  So get them out and dust them off because they were perfect for the card!  The black rhinestones were clear. I used a black Sharpie to change the color.  Cool huh!

I used several different stamp sets from my stash to stamp all of the different designs.  The sentiment is Studio G and the hearts are from my stash.  I used Spellbinders Labels Five.

Well I'm exhausted.  I think I will hit the hay for the night!  Maybe I will have more designs for you tomorrow!  Good night peeps!

Graduation Card for my Nephew Brandon

Hi My Crafty Friends!!

My awesome nephew Brandon is graduating from High School June 11 so I needed to make him a card.  I got this idea from Papers Crafts magazine.  More information on the card is below the picture.

The mat is a piece of white card stock cut down to fit the card, then I took my Vintage Photo distress pad and swiped over the card stock to get an even color on it.  Then I took my Impression Obsession Splatter extra large stamp and put Versa Mark all over it then spritzed it with water and you get the splatter affect on the paper.  The 6x6 paper pad I used is Basic Grey's Fact.  The sentiment I typed on my computer and printed out on the same Kraft paper I made the card base.  The bling is from Creative Memories.

I hope this card has inspired you to get out your paper and scissors and create! :)

Have an absolutely AWESOME day!!!

Sketcn-N-Scrap Card Challenge #2

LOL!!!  I told you I'd be back again today!  This is a card I did for Sketch-N-Scrap Card Challenge #2.  I made this card simple because it is a card for my husband (guys don't like all that frilly stuff)!  I always struggle with guy cards but I'm pleased with the way this one turned out.  Here is the sketch

Here is my card:

The paper line I used is Basic Grey's 6x6 Fact pad.  The sentiment was stamped with Hero Arts Father's Day Message.  The tickets were Inkadinkado, Paperwork Greetings.  The love you is from my stash.  The postage stamp is from Hero Arts Collector's Edition International Tour De Luxe.

If you get a chance please check out the rest of my blog as I'm giving away some blog candy!  Yummy Yummy ;)

Well I have to go for now.  Someone has to do some housework "giggle"!  I'm going to be working on my Tsunami Rose Design Team project later so I will spare you the constant emails from me "tee hee" for the rest of the day.  Maybe :)

You have an AWESOME day or evening whatever the case may be!

'ABC' #29 Challenge / Stamped Backgrounds

WOW, I've been busy today!  This is my third post in one day!  To say I have finally had time to craft would be an understatement, LOL!!!  Any who, here is a card I made for ABC #29 Challenge

I saw this technique in my May/June Paper Crafts magazine.  Take one of your Tim Holtz distress inks and apply it directly to your paper.  Then ink your background stamp with Versa Mark and spritz with water then press onto inked paper.  I used the Peacock Feathers distress ink and the background stamp is from Impression Obsession and it's called C-A-C Spatter.  I'm really pleased with the way it turned out!

Well I hope you like it.  If you get a chance please check out the rest of my blog as I'm giving out some blog candy!  I think I'm done posting for tonight but tomorrow is another day! :))
